Weidner Apartment Homes Acquires Multifamily Complex for $90 Million

Weidner Apartment Homes, a global real estate investment and property management company based in Kirkland, has recently acquired the Uptown at Kirkland Urban apartments for $89.5 million. The 185-unit complex was built in 2019 and sold by PGIM, the investment management arm of Prudential Financial headquartered in Newark.

Conveniently located at 550 Uptown Court, this development provides easy access to major employment centers such as downtown Bellevue, Redmond, and Seattle including Microsoft’s headquarters and Google’s Kirkland office. With a mix of studio to two-bedroom units totaling 184,000 square feet , residents can enjoy amenities like a fitness room and rooftop terrace with stunning views of Lake Washington. Additionally , there is also a retail unit spanning over 2 ,000 square feet within the building.

This latest acquisition marks Weidner’s fourth property in Kirkland alone while expanding its portfolio to include over6 ,700 units throughout the greater Seattle area . In addition to properties across Alaska through Canada including Arizona Arkansas California Minnesota North Dakota Oklahoma Texas Utah Wisconsin Weidner continues its growth strategy with expert investments nationwide .
