Venu Holding Corp. has announced plans to develop a 12,500-seat, multiseasonal amphitheater in Webster, Texas. The state-of-the-art venue will span 34 acres near the Great Wolf Lodge and will be located within the city’s Flyway district.

The $150 million project, named Sunset Amphitheater Houston at Webster and powered by Eight Elite Light Beer, will be realized through a public-private partnership between Venu Holding Corp., the City of Webster, and the Webster Economic Development Corporation (WEDC). A formal development agreement is expected to be finalized in the coming months.

Designed to provide a premium entertainment experience, the amphitheater will include a canopy roof, wind-protective walls, and advanced audio-visual technology. One of its standout features will be Venu’s Luxe FireSuites, which will encircle the Aikman Club—a members-only space set to accommodate 350 exclusive club members.

The amphitheater will be a key component of Flyway, an 80-acre mixed-use development spearheaded by the WEDC. Construction began shortly after the Great Wolf Lodge project broke ground. The Flyway district is planned to include 1.6 million square feet of restaurants, bars, and retail space; an outdoor event lawn designed for concerts and movie nights; and a scenic boardwalk overlooking Clear Creek.

Once complete, the Sunset Amphitheater Houston is expected to become a major regional destination for live entertainment in Southeast Texas.
