**Webstar Technology Group Affiliate Acquires and Will Redevelop The Forge Project in Downtown Atlanta**
A Webstar Technology Group affiliate has acquired The Forge Project, a more than 3 million-square-foot mixed-use development located in the Castleberry Hill district of Downtown Atlanta. The project is fully entitled and shovel-ready, signaling the beginning of a transformative redevelopment effort in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
The Forge will feature a diverse mix of components, including residential units, boutique and condo hotel rooms, flex space, a sports entertainment complex, restaurant and retail spaces, and a cultural center. The site is located within the SPI-1 SA1 zoning corridor, which allows for the highest density development permitted in the city.
Webstar has selected architecture and design firm Nelson Worldwide to serve as the lead architect for The Forge Project. Nelson previously partnered with Webstar on the $650 million Bear Village Resort in Commerce, Georgia, and will now bring its expertise to this significant urban redevelopment.
In a forward-looking move, Webstar also plans to tokenize The Forge Project using blockchain technology. This approach will enable fractional ownership through dividend-paying digital securities, providing enhanced liquidity and transparency for investors interested in commercial real estate.
The Forge is positioned to become a cornerstone destination in Downtown Atlanta, blending modern living, commerce, and entertainment in a single, integrated development.
