Waterton has successfully secured a $16 million preferred equity investment for the development of the Residences at Eastbank in downtown Aurora, Illinois. This five-story, 258-unit mid-rise apartment building is located at 100 N. Broadway and is sponsored by DAC Developments based in Chicago, with additional support from the City of Aurora.
The investment was facilitated by Geneva Capital Group based in Wheaton and also includes a $45 million senior loan through their bank syndication program. Construction began on this project in May 2024 and is expected to be completed by 2026.
Steve Carlson, executive vice president of capital markets at Waterton expressed his pride in being able to work with DAC and the City of Aurora to provide necessary financing for this significant development project.
The Residences at Eastbank will offer fully entitled multifamily units within walking distance to various retail, dining, and entertainment options. The floorplans will feature a mix of studio apartments as well as one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences.

Microsoft SQL Server
I’m trying to create an insert statement that inserts data from one table to another.
The problem I’m having is that there are more columns in my destination table than my source table and I don’t want to enter any data into those extra columns.
Is there a way to do this without having to specify each column name in the insert statement?

You can use IDENTITY_INSERT ON and then you can specify which columns you want to insert data into.
I’m not sure how that would help me. I don’t need an identity column, but thanks for trying.
If your source table has less columns than destination, then it is impossible unless:
1) You have some kind of default values on those extra columns (like getdate() or something like that)
2) Your destination table allows NULLs on those extra fields and they are not mandatory fields (otherwise SQL Server will complain about null values).
3) You create a view with only the needed fields from your destionation table. Then you could write an INSERT INTO … SELECT FROM using the view instead of direct access to your destination table.
Hope this helps…
Thanks for responding acperkins,
The problem is my source tables have more records than my desitination tables so I cannot add any constraints at all because there are already nulls in place where there should be no nulls according to my constraint definition. So what i was hoping was that when i did an insert select * from sourcetable into desttable it would just ignore any additional rows since they were never specified anyway…but as we know sql server doesn’t work like oracle 🙁 oh well…i’ll figure out another solution….thanks again!
>>So what i was hoping was that when i did an insert select * from sourcetable into desttable <>In fact, it seems like it would be less prone to errors since the user wouldn’t have to worry about specifying each column and making sure they match up.<<
That's exactly why SQL Server does NOT allow implicit inserts as Oracle does – too much room for error! If someone adds a new field later on down the road, suddenly code starts breaking because now their "implicit" inserts start failing due ot mismatched number/types of parameters being passed in….
Just one reason why explicitness is always better than implicitness… 😉

After months of speculation (and some very public campaigning), Chris Bosh has finally made his decision: He will join Dwyane Wade in Miami next season.
According ESPN’s Chris Broussard:
Chris Bosh will sign with Miami Heat today or tomorrow according source close him — CHRIS BROUSSARD (@chris_broussard) July 7, 2010
Bosh had long been rumored as a potential member of LeBron James’ entourage wherever he decided play ball next year. But when King James announced last night that he was taking his talents South Beach way (alongside D-Wade), things changed dramatically for CB4.
With two superstars already locked into deals with Pat Riley’s team – both having taken slightly smaller salaries so that another big name could join them – there is still plenty left over financially speaking should the Heat decide to add another piece or two.
The Miami Heat are now officially a superpower in the NBA, and they haven’t even played a game yet.
