Waterton has recently made a strategic move to re-enter the Tri-State market with its acquisition of 15 Bank, a 501-unit apartment community located in White Plains, NY. The property, conveniently situated at 15 Bank Street, will undergo significant value-add renovations and updates under Waterton’s ownership.
Featuring one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, this community offers residents comfortable living spaces. As part of the renovation plans, shared areas such as the gym will be repurposed from an existing street-level retail space while converting the current gym into a package room. Additionally, an indoor pool will be transformed into an inviting indoor/outdoor dining venue for residents’ enjoyment. Other enhancements include a modernized community kitchen and lounge area along with technological upgrades.
According to Jeremy Stern, vice president of acquisitions at Waterton: “The recent acquisition of 15 Bank is strategically aligned with our goal to tap into the growing vibrancy of White Plains while providing convenient access to midtown Manhattan through its proximity to the White Plains Metro-North train station.”
This latest development by Waterton showcases their expertise in identifying lucrative investment opportunities within thriving markets like White Plains without compromising on quality or convenience for their tenants’ benefit.
