Washington University in St. Louis has officially commenced construction on the new Neil S. Hirsch Center, a state-of-the-art, 30,000-square-foot facility designed to serve students, alumni, and employers.
Designed by Christner Architects, a St. Louis-based firm, the three-story building will be constructed by Clayco and will become a central hub for career development and alumni engagement on the university’s Danforth Campus.
The facility is named in honor of Neil S. Hirsch, an entrepreneur and pioneer in the financial information industry. The naming recognizes a generous pledge from Hirsch’s widow, Laura DeLuca Hirsch, made through the Neil S. Hirsch Foundation.
“We’re proud to be part of a project that will serve generations of students and alumni, built right here in St. Louis by a St. Louis team,” said Elizabeth Zucker, President of Clayco’s St. Louis region.
Construction is currently underway, and the center is expected to open in 2027.
