St. John Properties, Inc. has expanded its internal finance leadership with two promotions. Kelly Gallagher has been elevated to director, lending, where she will oversee the company’s loan closing and due diligence processes, as well as lender compliance tied to both permanent and construction financing. He will also contribute to the firm’s broader capital strategies and the stewardship of relationships with financial institutions and capital partners.

JLL has added multifamily investment sales expertise in the nation’s capital, naming Ari Azarbarzin as a senior director in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Azarbarzin is tasked with focusing on multifamily and build-to-rent investment sales across the Mid-Atlantic, with particular attention to secondary and tertiary markets in Virginia and Maryland. He brings more than a decade of experience in multifamily investment sales and has been involved in over 120 multi-housing transactions during his career. Before joining JLL, he held senior multifamily investment sales roles at Cushman & Wakefield and Northmarq.

Barnes & Thornburg has strengthened its real estate finance practice with the addition of three partners. The firm announced that Andrew Almand and Darnell J. Morrow have joined its Washington, D.C. office, while Jeremy J. Nauman has joined the Minneapolis office. All three attorneys arrive from Ballard Spahr, further building out Barnes & Thornburg’s capabilities in real estate finance across multiple markets.

Sands Investment Group has launched a new Mid-Atlantic office in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, expanding its commercial real estate advisory footprint. The Alexandria location is intended to deepen the firm’s presence in Northern Virginia and the broader Washington-Baltimore corridor while extending reach into nearby growth markets. The office opens with three veteran advisors, Gilbert Trout, Brent Collier and Cliff Roberts, whose combined experience spans investment sales, leasing, development, ownership and advisory assignments.

Colliers has appointed Joseph Sisson, MAI, as managing director for the Philadelphia office of Colliers Valuation & Advisory Services. Sisson’s arrival broadens the firm’s valuation leadership in the Northeast and enhances its ability to serve clients across eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey. In this role, he will guide the growth of the Philadelphia valuation platform, overseeing client relationships, business development, valuation engagements, team recruitment and training, and quality control.

JLL has also made senior leadership moves in Philadelphia. Walker will apply her experience in workplace strategy and organizational planning to help clients adapt to evolving workplace expectations and develop work environments aligned with broader business objectives.
