Worthe Real Estate Group and Stockbridge Real Estate Fund have completed Second Century, an 800,000-square-foot project leased to Warner Bros. in the Burbank Media District. Named in anticipation of Warner Bros.’ upcoming 100th anniversary, the project will house approximately 4,500 employees.
The two LEED certified office buildings stand seven and nine stories high on the southernmost portion of The Burbank Studios Lot adjacent to its main lot. Frank Gehry and his team at Gehry Partners designed them while Worthe developed them with construction company Krismar Construction overseeing their buildout.
“We are thrilled to have completed this expansion that will have a significant presence in the Burbank Media District,” said Jeff Worthe, president of Worthe Real Estate Group.” It has created jobs totaling more than two million hours worked.”
