Walker & Dunlop Closes $35M Sale of University Mixed-Use Property

Walker & Dunlop successfully arranged the sale of The Arcade Residences for $35 million, representing one of the highest prices per door in Chicago. Constructed in 2019, this mixed-use property features 58 rental units and 9,643 square feet of retail space.

Led by Todd Stofflet and Jason Stevens , Walker & Dunlop’s Chicago Investment Sales Team worked with owner Borecki Real Estate during development to ensure a successful outcome. After leasing up all units at The Arcade Residences, Borecki selected Walker & Dunlop to represent them in the disposition process which resulted in a sale over market pricing for their client.

“Loyola University has limited purpose-built off-campus housing options available for students,” said Stevens “The nearest student apartment building is located more than six miles away from campus while Class A options are typically found 10+ miles away from campus making The Arcade Residences an ideal solution due its unbeatable proximity.”
