Walker & Dunlop Arranges $11 Million for Apartments for Disabled People

Alliant Capital, a Walker & Dunlop company, arranged $11 million in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) equity investments for the construction of Baytown Apartments. This Hillsborough County, FL community will provide opportunities for persons with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities to live in an integrated environment with neurotypical persons. Dudley Benoit and Jennifer Erixon led Alliant’s LIHTC syndication of the tax credits. The deal is a joint venture between InVictus Development and CDS Monarch which will be a two-story building with 30 LIHTC units; 15 set aside specifically for those living with I/DD.

Andrew Sewnauth, executive director of CDS Monarch commented on this exciting opportunity: “Baytown Apartments is key to making our mission happen – creating safe and nurturing environments where individuals we serve can reach their goals and fulfill their dreams.” With high quality housing as part of that equation it’s no wonder why this project has been so successful!
