The Wake County Board of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) recently acquired an industrial building in Garner, located at 600 S. Greenfield Parkway for a total of $27.5 million.
With its current office and warehouse space totaling 8,000 square feet and 70,000 square feet respectively, this move will significantly increase the available space for both administrative offices and alcoholic products. The newly purchased warehouse will serve as a storage facility to replenish inventory at all 26 Wake County ABC stores throughout the county.
According to reports from Triangle Business Journal, the vacant warehouse spans over 160,000 square feet and is situated in southeast Garner alongside two other new industrial buildings on site. As construction progresses over the next year and a half or so until completion of buildout phase is reached; employees including those working in administration are expected to relocate from their current location within this time frame as well – with approximately three hundred individuals currently employed by Wake County ABC overall.
