On Monday, Vornado Realty Trust unveiled a suite of tenant amenities and food and beverage retailers at The MART office property in Chicago. This summer will mark the latest phase of upgrades to the iconic building, which is currently the largest privately held commercial building in the U.S. Upgrades include revitalizations to both its South Lobby and River Park areas.
Paul Heinen, COO for THE MART commented: “Vornado acquired The MART 25 years ago; we are proud to continue our successes with this next phase of development that builds upon its impressive history.” He added that their new workplace strategy would complement existing offerings such as expansive offices for leading tenants, sought-after brands in design showrooms, and digital exhibitions at ART on THE MART – creating one of Chicago’s most dynamic mixed-use developments on a grand scale.
