"Virginia Beach Sees Two Significant Retail Leases Signed"

Armada Hoffler, a real estate development company, recently secured two new retail leases at Columbus Village in the Virginia Beach Town Center district. The first lease is for 14,000 square feet and will be occupied by a well-known grocery store. The second lease is for 19,000 square feet and will be taken over by a national sporting goods retailer. These two reputable tenants will occupy most of the space previously held by Bed Bath & Beyond.

In just 18 months since Bed Bath & Beyond closed its doors at Columbus Village, Armada Hoffler has successfully filled both of their former spaces with these credit-worthy tenants. Additionally, they have also leased out another space at Patterson Place to another major national tenant.

Shawn Tibbetts , CEO and President of Armada Hoffler stated that these new leases are evidence of their successful transformation of this once large retail space into an attractive destination for desirable retailers due to its high foot traffic and close proximity to the popular Virginia Beach Town Center area.

Columbus Village spans across two sites totaling 12 acres and offers a total retail space measuring up to 157,000 square feet.
