Interra Realty recently facilitated the sale of a 28-unit multifamily property in Chicago’s desirable Lincoln Park neighborhood for $9.6 million. This transaction is one of many successful residential deals completed by the firm on Chicago’s North Side.
The acquisition was represented by Interra Senior Managing Partner Joe Smazal, who also acted as the broker for the local private seller in this off-market deal. According to Smazal, investors are increasingly optimistic about well-located assets in Chicago, especially those with a long-term hold strategy.
The property, located at 1900-16 N. Lincoln Avenue and built in 1906, features a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments that were fully occupied at the time of sale. Its prime location near popular amenities such as North Avenue Beach and Lincoln Park Zoo make it an attractive investment opportunity with easy access to dining, shopping and entertainment options.
