ViewSonic Relocates from Longtime Chino Base to Ontario Ranch Business Park
CRE Market Beat Take
The move from a long-held Chino site into a larger Class A facility in Ontario highlights ongoing tenant preference for modern Inland Empire West logistics product, supporting values for newer industrial assets in that submarket.

ViewSonic Corporation has committed to a new 171,913-square-foot industrial lease at Building 2 in Ontario Ranch Business Park, relocating its warehouse operations from a longtime base in Chino. The facility is located at 4953 E. Euclid in Ontario and represents a significant expansion into a modern, larger footprint for the technology company.

The lease was arranged with Newmark and Cushman & Wakefield representing ViewSonic in the transaction. Newmark executive managing director David Kluth and Cushman & Wakefield's Nathan Piehl co-represented the tenant, working together to secure the space at the master-planned industrial park.

According to Kluth, ViewSonic elected to move after a 12-year tenancy in Chino in order to occupy a larger, state-of-the-art building that had not previously been used. The move into the Ontario Ranch Business Park location is intended to support the company's growth and improve the efficiency and quality of its warehouse operations by leveraging contemporary building features.

Ontario Ranch Business Park is described as a premier Class A industrial development in the Inland Empire West submarket. The park offers modern, high-quality warehouse facilities designed with state-of-the-art specifications suited to distribution and logistics users. While full project details were not disclosed, the overall business park is characterized as a large-scale industrial campus with multiple phases and buildings totaling millions of square feet.

The master-planned nature of Ontario Ranch Business Park is a key attribute for industrial users seeking scale and operational flexibility. The multi-building design allows tenants to position themselves within a coordinated logistics environment, benefiting from shared infrastructure and the clustering of distribution facilities in a single, purpose-built industrial setting.

Connectivity is another feature emphasized for the business park. The development offers access to several major transportation corridors, including Interstates 10 and 15, as well as State Routes 60 and 71. This network links the site to regional and national supply chain routes, supporting both inbound and outbound freight movement for tenants that rely on truck transport.

For ViewSonic, the relocation to a newer, never-occupied building in the sought-after Ontario industrial market underscores ongoing demand for high-quality logistics space in the Inland Empire West. The combination of modern warehouse specifications and strong freeway access positions the company to enhance its distribution capabilities while remaining within a core Southern California industrial hub.

Transaction terms, including lease duration and rental rates, were not disclosed. Ownership details for Building 2 and the broader Ontario Ranch Business Park were also not specified in the announcement.
