VersaTerra: Planning for Extensive SA Development

VersaTerra, a San Antonio-based developer, has announced plans for a large mixed-use project at the intersection of Loop 410 and New Sulphur Springs Road. The development will span 2,000 acres and include up to 5,000 residential units as well as 700 acres dedicated to commercial and industrial use.

The parcel will be developed through a joint venture between VersaTerra and R City Developments. R City is a family-owned company from Mexico that currently owns the land.

Construction is expected to take place over the course of 15 years with VersaTerra currently working on zoning and entitlements for the property. Groundbreaking is anticipated in spring of next year under the current name “Desarollo El Rancho,” although this may change in the future.

The location offers close proximity to major developments such as Brooks, Toyota Motor Manufacturing facility, and an upcoming JCB facility. This expansive project showcases VersaTerra’s commitment to growth in San Antonio’s real estate market without mentioning any specific Connect platforms or events.
