Vantage Data Centers, a global provider of hyperscale data center campuses based in Denver, has successfully completed an equity raise of $9.2 billion. The investment was led by DigitalBridge Group and SilverLake, with participation from various international investors.
In addition to the previously announced €1.5-billion investment from Australian Super last September, Vantage has received a total of approximately $11 billion in new investments over the past nine months. This includes more than $7 billion in primary equity which will be used to support the company’s growth across North America and EMEA regions as it expands its portfolio beyond 25 sites.
According to Sureel Choksi, President and CEO of Vantage Data Centers: “The oversubscribed nature of this round is a testament to our team’s proven track record for delivering exceptional results for our customers.” He added that this significant funding from top digital infrastructure and technology investors positions Vantage uniquely well for capitalizing on opportunities presented by AI and cloud technologies.
