The El Paso Veterans Administration Hospital, which is currently 30 years old and facing overcrowding issues, will soon be replaced with a new state-of-the-art facility. The construction contract for this project has been awarded to Clark Construction Group for $617.5 million.
Construction is set to commence in late summer or early fall and the completion date is estimated to be in late 2029 or early 2030.
SmithGroup, a renowned architectural and engineering firm based in Detroit, along with HKS, a global architectural firm headquartered in Dallas, will collaborate as part of Clark’s construction team to design the VA facility.
