University of Texas San Antonio has begun construction on a $100 million Center for Brain Health, located at the corner of Floyd Curl Drive and Charles Katz Drive next to UT Health San Antonio’s Medical Arts & Research Center. The five-story building is expected to be completed in 2025 and will span 103,000 square feet. This project is part of UT Health San Antonio’s capital investments totaling $1 billion over the next four years.
The purpose of this facility is twofold; it will provide expert care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias, movement disorders, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other health issues as well as serve as a training venue for medical residents and postgraduate trainees.
