### CBRE Adds Stephen Somer and Brooke Silver to Capital Markets Team

CBRE has announced the addition of Stephen Somer and Brooke Silver to its Capital Markets team in Los Angeles. Somer, who previously served as managing director of Eastdil Secured’s Los Angeles office for 22 years, joins CBRE as vice chair, specializing in office and studio investment sales. Silver, also coming from Eastdil, joins as a senior vice president on Somer’s team.

Somer will be based in CBRE’s West Los Angeles office and will be part of the firm’s National Office Partners team. During his tenure at Eastdil, he played a pivotal role in numerous high-profile office and studio investment sales transactions in Los Angeles and also served as EMEA region head from 2009 to 2012.

Silver will collaborate with Somer from CBRE’s Downtown Los Angeles office. During her six years at Eastdil, she worked closely with him on major transactions, bringing strategic expertise to investment sales.

“Stephen is highly respected and admired throughout the industry, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the team,” said Andy Ratner, executive managing director for CBRE in West Los Angeles. “His addition significantly enhances our Capital Markets presence and our ability to advise investment clients.”

Ratner also praised Silver’s reputation in the industry, adding, “Brooke is highly regarded, and we are pleased to have her join CBRE alongside Stephen to establish an industry-leading investment sales team that will leverage CBRE’s full platform to move markets.”

Somer and Silver will collaborate closely with CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance team to maximize synergies between these divisions.
