#### **Newmark Expands Leadership in Valuation & Advisory Services**
Newmark has introduced a new regional leadership structure within its Valuation & Advisory (V&A) service line. As part of this initiative, Jay F. Booth, MAI, CRE; Norm W. LeZotte, MAI; and Rob Vodinelic, MAI, MRICS, have been promoted to regional managing directors for West, South, and Midwest/Northeast, respectively. In their new roles, they will oversee local V&A Market Leaders, implement business growth strategies, and optimize operations with a focus on client service.
#### **Amy Heller Joins Meridian Capital Group**
Amy Heller, a veteran leader in healthcare finance, has joined Meridian Capital Group’s senior housing and healthcare division as a senior managing director specializing in healthcare-related debt brokerage. Previously, she was the founder and president of the Healthcare and Housing and Urban Development lending divisions at Forbright Bank, where she led teams managing nearly $3 billion in healthcare loans.
#### **Rosenberg & Estis Adds Sean Garahan to Transactions Team**
Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. has announced that Sean Garahan has joined the firm’s transactions department as a member. Garahan is recognized as an expert in complex real estate finance structures, representing borrowers and lenders in mortgage, mezzanine, CMBS, construction, and other financings, as well as restructuring and workout arrangements.
#### **Merchants Capital Expands with Industry Veterans**
Merchants Capital has brought on Andrew Weil and Justin Ginsberg as executive vice presidents of originations to lead its fifth national debt sales team. Weil and Ginsberg have worked together in the affordable housing industry for over 30 years, including leadership roles at Centerline Capital Group and Grandbridge, a subsidiary of Truist Bank.
#### **Frances Calosso Joins RAMSA as Interior Design Director**
Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) has appointed Frances Calosso as its new interior design director. Before joining RAMSA, Calosso held senior design roles at several notable hospitality-focused firms, including Roman and Williams, Rockwell Group, and Islyn Studio.
#### **Eliad S. Shapiro Joins Herrick as Partner**
Commercial litigator Eliad S. Shapiro has joined Herrick as a partner from Moses & Singer LLP. With extensive experience in real estate litigation, Shapiro is the third senior addition to Herrick’s litigation team this year. He previously practiced at Clifford Chance and Smith & Shapiro.
#### **James Lenox House Honors Leaders at Annual Gala**
James Lenox House and Carnegie East House, two not-for-profit senior living communities in New York City, will honor James G. Phillips, AIA, founder and managing executive of TPG Architecture, and Joseph P. Romano, CEO of JRM Construction Management, at the annual Spring Blossoms Gala. The event, set for April 8, 2025, at The Plaza Hotel, will raise funds to support affordable senior living at both residences.
