Ariel Aber has joined CBRE as Vice Chair, where he will focus on institutional investment transactions involving commercial assets across New York City. He brings extensive experience from DivcoWest, where he served as Managing Director and Head of New York Investments for seven years. Prior to that, Aber was Director of Real Estate for AmTrust Financial.
Alex Meirowitz has joined Milbank LLP’s New York office as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Group. He handles a wide range of complex commercial real estate transactions, with an emphasis on both debt and equity. Meirowitz was previously a partner in the Real Estate Group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
MonticelloAM, LLC, a bridge lending platform specialized in multifamily and seniors housing, has named Patti Unti as Portfolio Manager. Unti brings nearly three decades of commercial real estate experience in areas including debt and equity, asset management, structured finance, and investment banking.
Cresa has appointed Tony Juliano as Managing Principal for the Northeast Region. In this expanded leadership role, Juliano will oversee operations in New York City and New Jersey, focusing on growth strategies, recruiting, mergers and acquisitions, and enhanced client service. He previously led a successful tenure in the Philadelphia market.
Levin Management Corporation (LMC) has named Jeanette Oliver as Chief Financial Officer. Oliver joins LMC after serving as Chief Accounting Officer at Silverstein Properties Inc. She also previously held the role of Accounting Director at Forest City Ratner Companies.
The CoreNet Global New York City Chapter has announced its 2025 Board of Directors. Leading the board as Chair is Mindy Williams, Director and Head of Client Development at Turner & Townsend. Williams brings over 25 years of expertise in real estate, design, and construction. Joining her on the Executive Board are:

Thomas J. Taffe has been appointed as Chief of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department (MTAPD) by MTA Chair and CEO Janno Lieber. Taffe had been serving as Acting Chief for four months and brings 30 years of law enforcement experience, including over two years as MTAPD’s Chief of Operations.
Third Avenue Management LLC announced that its Third Avenue Real Estate Value UCITS Fund has been honored at the 2025 LSEG Lipper Funds Awards. The fund was named Best Global Real Estate Fund Over Three Years and Best Global Real Estate Fund Over Five Years in Europe, Switzerland, France, and the U.K. These accolades reflect performance through December 31, 2024, and mark the seventh recognition by the LSEG Lipper Awards for the Third Avenue team.
