Tacoma Mall’s redevelopment project, set to begin construction this summer, will feature two popular additions to its lineup of restaurants. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, Dave’s Hot Chicken and Supreme Dumplings from Bellevue will join Shake Shack in “The Village,” a multi-building development led by Simon Property Group Inc., the mall’s owner. Other new eateries include Happy Lamb Hot Pot and Simply Thai Restaurant.

Recent permit requests submitted to the city of Tacoma reveal that Building A will span 15,000 square feet with an estimated cost of $3.5 million for construction. The second building, known as Building B, is expected to be around 10,000 square feet and have a price tag of $2.5 million.
