### Up Campus Student Living Breaks Ground on Blume on Ivy Near UVA
Up Campus Student Living has officially broken ground on Blume on Ivy, a new off-campus student housing community near the University of Virginia. Situated along the rapidly developing Ivy Road Corridor, the project is close to UVA’s new Data Science School, the Karsh Center, and the university’s athletics complex. Blume on Ivy is slated to open for the 2027-2028 academic year.
The development is led by Up Campus Student Living, with financing provided by Fifth Third Bank and First Citizens Bank. “Blume on Ivy reflects our mission to create vibrant, high-quality student communities that blend modern convenience with the best aspects of student life,” said Stephen Bus, Managing Partner of Up Campus.
Strategically positioned between UVA’s Central Grounds and North Grounds, Blume on Ivy offers students easy access to classes, campus resources, dining, and Charlottesville’s entertainment options. The community will provide spacious, fully furnished one- to four-bedroom apartments, along with 20,000 square feet of resort-style amenities designed to enhance the student living experience.
