The University of Michigan has selected American Campus Communities (ACC) to spearhead the development of a new residential community. Alongside RAMSA as the design architect and Elkus Manfredi Architects, this team will construct a state-of-the-art living space consisting of five residence halls with 2,300 student beds and a 900-seat dining facility.
In 2023, the university’s Board of Regents approved the $631 million project which is expected to be completed in 2026. This environmentally sustainable living-learning community showcases our commitment to enhancing students’ on-campus experience,” stated Martino Harmon, vice president for student life.
According to James Wilhelm, Executive Vice President at American Campus Communities’ P3 Partnership division: “Collaborating with RAMSA and Elkus Manfredi Architects allows us access to their extensive expertise in creating modern amenities that promote academic success while adhering to top green building standards.”
