## Universal Kids Resort in Frisco Unveils Attractions
Universal Kids Resort in Frisco is set to introduce a wide array of attractions as part of its $550 million development. The resort will feature seven distinct themed areas inspired by popular franchises such as *Shrek*, *SpongeBob SquarePants*, and *Jurassic World*.
According to reports from the *Dallas Business Journal*, the resort’s central area will include shaded lawns, interactive play zones, and character meet-and-greet experiences. Guests will also find an immersive retail space featuring Gabby from *Gabby’s Dollhouse*. A vibrant 300-room hotel will serve as the park’s main entrance.
Although smaller in scale compared to Universal’s Orlando resort, the Frisco location is expected to draw an average of 7,500 visitors per day, with peak attendance reaching up to 20,000 during holidays and summer vacations.
The resort is being built on a 97-acre site at the northeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Panther Creek Parkway. Construction began in 2023, with the goal of opening to the public in 2026. The project team includes general contractor Balfour Beatty and architectural firm Gensler.
