**U.S., China, and India Lead in Global Tech Markets**
The United States continues to dominate the global landscape for top tech talent, reinforcing its reputation as a global hub of innovation. According to Colliers’ newly released report, “Global Tech Markets: Top Talent Locations 2025,” three of the top five cities leading the charge—San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, and New York City—are located in the U.S.
Meanwhile, China and India have also solidified their standings as major centers for skilled tech professionals. Each country boasts five cities included in the report’s top 50 global tech markets list, reflecting their growing influence in the technology sector.
The Colliers report evaluated over 200 markets across the globe, assessing key factors such as talent acquisition, venture capital investment, labor market strength, talent pipelines, and the diversity of their tech sectors. Notably, the findings reveal that 36% of the world’s tech talent is concentrated in just 10 global markets—all located in either the United States or India.
“Tech talent is increasingly concentrated in core cities across the U.S., China, India, and Europe, which have now become the world’s most influential digital innovation hubs fueling the global economy,” said Andrew Hallissey, CEO of Occupier Services, Global at Colliers.
These trends highlight the continued consolidation of tech innovation in key global regions, and point to the critical importance of talent ecosystems in shaping the future of the international tech industry.
