**Union Square Events Expands Headquarters at Industry City in Brooklyn**
Union Square Events, a hospitality and catering concept founded by Danny Meyer and part of the Compass Group family, has expanded its operational footprint at Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The company has signed a 13-year lease to increase its space to 82,000 square feet—an expansion of 12,000 square feet that reflects its continued growth and deepening ties to Brooklyn’s creative and culinary sectors.
“Union Square Events’ continued investment at Industry City is particularly rewarding,” said Jeff Fein, Senior Vice President at Industry City. “To have such a prolific industry leader recommit to our campus validates what we’ve created — a place to lay stake, flourish and grow.”
The expanded space includes a 33,000-square-foot commissary kitchen, a tasting room, a 120-seat employee dining area, and additional space to support culinary incubator initiatives. The fully integrated headquarters now accommodates kitchen, tasting, and office functions under one roof.
Union Square Events originally moved to Industry City in 2021. Jeff Fein represented Industry City in the lease agreement, while Union Square Events was represented by its president, Anthony Mastellone.
The expansion is a strong sign of confidence in the vibrant business ecosystem emerging at Industry City, as well as the evolving food and hospitality landscape in Brooklyn.
