Carr Properties has recently announced that KIPP DC, a community of public schools, has signed a long-term lease for approximately 16,000 square feet at Signal House. The office building is located in the bustling Union Market District of Washington, DC.
KIPP DC was represented by Transwestern’s Kamis O’Farrell Lawrence and Michael Goldman in the leasing process. Avison Young’s Jonathan Wellborn and Eli Barnes represented Carr Properties. KIPP DC will be relocating from their current headquarters to occupy part of the 9th floor at Signal House. This move brings them closer to their schools and communities in Ward 5.
