DivcoWest’s Cambridge Crossing (CX) has been awarded the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) 2023 ULI Americas Awards for Excellence. CX is one of 10 developments from North America competing against projects from Europe and Asia Pacific in the 2023 ULI Global Awards for Excellence. These awards recognize superior development efforts across private, public, and nonprofit sectors with a variety of land uses, sizes, and investments.
Mark Roopenian, managing director of DivcoWest expressed his delight at being selected as a winner: “We are thrilled to have been chosen as recipients of this prestigious award! Since breaking ground six years ago our team has worked hard with planning partners to create an inclusive space that reflects equity and accessibility in Cambridge-Somerville-Boston area.” He thanked all those who made it possible for Cambridge Crossing to become what it is today – “a vibrant community”.
This year 68 projects were considered by an expert jury which then shortlisted 20 finalists before selecting 10 winners after interviews & site visits.
