The University of Chicago has announced a major donation of $75 million from the AbbVie Foundation to support the construction of their new cancer pavilion. This generous contribution will go towards the development of UChicago Medicine’s flagship hub, a state-of-the-art 575,000-square-foot building set to open in 2027.

He also emphasized that this partnership reflects AbbVie Foundation’s confidence in UChicago as a leading medical institution dedicated to tackling global health challenges.
