The University of California, Berkeley and SKS Partners have joined forces to create the Berkeley Space Center at NASA Research Park. This 36-acre innovation hub, located in Mountain View’s Moffett Field, aims to solidify California’s position as a global leader in innovation.
According to Governor Gavin Newsom, this center will not only focus on Earth-bound advancements but also drive progress in space technology. By bringing together top leaders from academia, government and industry, the Berkeley Space Center will foster new technologies and breakthroughs.
CBRE has been selected as the exclusive leasing agent for R&D/lab spaces at the center. The team responsible for marketing these spaces includes Ben Knight,
Bob Steinbock,
Gregg Domanico,
Michael Domanico
and Matt Gutierrez.
The environmental entitlement process is currently underway with an estimated duration of two years before construction begins tentatively in 2026.
