U.S. Opening of Canadian Asian-Themed Grocery Chain

T&T Supermarkets, a Canadian grocery chain specializing in Asian products, will open its first U.S. store in the summer of 2024 in Bellevue, Washington. Located at the Marketplace at Factoria, this 76,000-square-foot supermarket will be the largest Asian supermarket in the state and serve as a flagship store for T&T which is owned by Loblaw Companies Ltd.

CEO Tina Lee expressed her excitement about bringing their unique offering closer to home for customers living within United States borders: “We know that our food has been well received across borders with hundreds of customers regularly making trips from US states to visit our stores located throughout British Columbia.” She continued on saying “After 30 successful years operating within Canada we couldn’t be more excited to bring T&T closer to home.”

In addition to opening their new store location they are also establishing a regional office based out of Los Angeles and actively hiring candidates for positions such as buyers and category managers who can support them during this expansion process.
