Two Trees Management Co. has expanded its office roster in DUMBO with seven new leases totaling more than 17,000 square feet, bringing a mix of architecture, design, consumer products and healthcare firms into the neighborhood. The new commitments deepen the area’s concentration of creative and professional tenants and add to what the company describes as a year of strong leasing momentum.
At 45 Main St., Think! Architecture + Design has taken 6,159 square feet of office space. In the same building, Bonside signed for 2,382 square feet, with the tenant represented by Avison Young’s Peter Johnson, and Clarity Cubed leased 1,500 square feet. The additions at 45 Main St. reflect continued demand from design-focused and growth-stage companies for office space in DUMBO’s converted warehouse properties.
Leasing activity also extended to 55 Washington St., where Rovi Health committed to 1,100 square feet and CTS Builders leased 854 square feet. These smaller footprints add to the building’s tenant mix and underscore interest from healthcare-related and construction-oriented users in the neighborhood’s office inventory.
At 20 Jay St., Veda Tech signed a 3,910-square-foot lease. Veda Tech was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Tim and Brian Hay in the transaction. Rounding out the activity, Group Project Design leased 1,555 square feet in the same property, bolstering the presence of design firms within the DUMBO office cluster.
Two Trees was represented in-house on the landlord side by managing directors Alyssa Zahle and Elizabeth Bueno, associate director Nicole Serras and director Jarad Winter. Commenting on the new leases, Bueno noted that DUMBO’s community continues to expand as creative firms choose to co-locate in the emerging design district, suggesting that tenant clustering is helping to support ongoing office demand in the neighborhood.
