Brookfield Properties has announced that Round One’s popular entertainment centers will soon be opening at two of their malls, Willowbrook and Deerbrook. According to the Houston Business Journal, the Willowbrook location will be larger than its counterpart at Deerbrook. The former Sears store, which spans 191,000 square feet in total, will undergo a $7 million renovation to accommodate Round One’s 107,005 square foot venue.
The new Willowbrook Round1 venue is expected to offer an array of exciting activities including eight to 10 bowling lanes and over 350 arcade machines. In addition to these classic favorites, guests can also enjoy six to eight billiard tables and four-to-six party/karaoke rooms for private events. With seating for over 100 people in the restaurant and bar area alone, there is plenty of space for guests looking for a break from all the action.
For sports enthusiasts or those just looking for some friendly competition with friends or family members alike can take advantage of facilities such as batting cages or roller rinks on site as well as trampolines and Sports Challenge areas.
Typical venues usually have between 50-70 thousand square feet dedicated solely towards sports facilities such as multi-courts offering ping pong tables ,3v3 basketball half-courts,golf putting greens,and archery ranges.Futsal/dodgeball courts are also available along with catch ball fields,and frisbee spaces providing endless opportunities for fun-filled days out!
While both locations are owned by Brookfield Properties,the project at Deerbook Mall requires significantly less investment comparedto its sister mall.With an estimated costof $2.8 million,the renovations here only cover23’770squarefeetandwill feature fewer attractions.However,this still provides ample opportunityfor visitorsof all ages toenjoya day filledwithexcitementat oneofRoundOne’sentertainmentcenters!
