**Yard 56 in East Baltimore Nears Full Occupancy with Two New Restaurant Leases**

MCB Real Estate has announced the addition of two new dining tenants at Yard 56, its mixed-use development in East Baltimore. The arrival of Five Guys and The Breakfast Club brings the 100,000-square-foot project—which includes retail, multifamily, and medical office space—to 97% occupancy.

Five Guys, the nationally known burger chain, will occupy a 3,003-square-foot space, marking its 16th location in Baltimore. The Breakfast Club, an upscale, all-day breakfast and brunch concept owned by chef Jason Miskiri, will take over 5,700 square feet of ground-floor space. Miskiri previously opened a sister location in downtown Silver Spring in 2022. Both restaurants are scheduled to open within the next year.

“Since 2019, restaurants and bars have been one of the only brick-and-mortar categories to see an increase in their share of retail sales,” said Erik Ylitalo, Senior Managing Director of Leasing at MCB Real Estate. “This highlights a strong post-pandemic recovery and an increase in consumer spending on experiences.”

With nearly full occupancy, Yard 56 continues to evolve as a vibrant community hub in East Baltimore.
