Twining Properties Secures Site Approval for Mixed-Use Development on New Rochelle Waterfront

Twining Properties has successfully obtained full site plan approval from the City of New Rochelle’s Planning Board for their latest development, Pratt Landing. This project will completely transform an 11.5-acre industrial waterfront site on the northeastern shore of New Rochelle, which was previously occupied by the Department of Public Work, Historical Naval Armory and a concrete batching plant.

The ambitious project spans over 850,000 square feet and will feature a diverse mix of residential units including apartments and condominiums, as well as a hotel. The restored Armory building will also be included in the development alongside retail shops and restaurants totaling over 40,000 square feet. With this approval marking the end of entitlement phase for Pratt Landing, preparations can now begin for pre-construction demolition work along with environmental assessments.

Pratt Landing is set to offer residents access to various recreational spaces within its four city blocks while providing ample parking space with room for up to 845 vehicles. Additionally,the historic Naval Armory building will be revitalized into an event venue that adds character to this exciting new mixed-use development on New Rochelle’s waterfront.
