**TruAmerica Acquires Grand at Westside Apartments in Kissimmee**
TruAmerica Multifamily has expanded its footprint in the Orlando metro area with the acquisition of Grand at Westside Apartments, a 336-unit garden-style apartment community located at 3250 Douglas Grand Drive in Kissimmee, Florida. As part of the transaction, TruAmerica assumed the property’s existing Fannie Mae loan.
With this latest addition, TruAmerica now owns 19 properties across the Orlando metropolitan area, totaling approximately 7,000 apartment units.
Originally built in 2015, Grand at Westside encompasses nearly 19 acres and features 14 three-story residential buildings, a clubhouse, and five garage structures. The property offers one- to four-bedroom floor plans, with unit sizes averaging 1,107 square feet.
Residents at Grand at Westside enjoy a variety of amenities, including a resort-style pool with cabanas, a fitness center, fire pits, pet oasis, playground, putting green, media lounge, game room, and business center.
TruAmerica has announced plans for a series of value-add improvements. Unit renovations will include a technology upgrade package and replacing carpeted bedrooms with plank flooring. Community-wide enhancements will address aesthetic and functional upgrades to the pool area, amenity spaces, and exterior paintwork.
The sale transaction was brokered by CBRE’s Jubeen Vaghefi, Denny St. Romain, Charles Crapse, Scott Peek, and Alex Kupp, who represented the seller.
