Tricon Residential Expands Built-to-Rent Portfolio with New Communities in Texas

Tricon Residential has officially opened two new built-to-rent (BTR) communities in Texas, further expanding its footprint in the fast-growing single-family rental market. The newly launched developments—Tricon Trinity Falls in McKinney and Tricon Peek Road in Katy—offer a combined total of over 300 new homes.

Tricon Trinity Falls features 126 newly constructed single-family homes, while Tricon Peek Road adds another 175 homes to the market. These communities are designed to provide high-quality rental housing options for families and individuals seeking the benefits of home living with the flexibility of renting.

Key features of both communities include:

– One- and two-story home designs
– Three- and four-bedroom floor plans
– Two-car garages
– Fully fenced private backyards

The developments were completed in partnership with HHS Residential. Tricon also collaborated with Johnson Development on the Tricon Peek Road project in Katy.

This expansion follows Tricon’s September opening of additional communities in Leander and Tomball, Texas, which collectively added more than 300 new single-family rental homes.

Tricon’s built-to-rent communities cater to residents who are financially able to rent but may not be ready or willing to purchase a home. These communities offer a flexible housing solution with the benefits of suburban living, including privacy, space, and a sense of neighborhood.
