**Tribal Wealth Fund Acquires Charlotte Apartment Community for $82M**
Trammell Crow has sold the Alexan Mill District, a 290-unit apartment community located at 1001 N. Brevard Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. The property was purchased for $82 million by the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Sovereign Wealth Fund.
The transaction was brokered by the Charlotte Multifamily Investment Sales team at Northmarq, which included Allan Lynch, Caylor Mark, Andrea Howard, John Currin, Jeff Glenn, and Austin Jackson, who represented Trammell Crow in the sale.
Completed in 2024, the Alexan Mill District features a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom units. Notable unit features include private balconies and dual-entry porches.
Residents benefit from a wide array of modern amenities, including a community clubhouse, indoor/outdoor speakeasy-style supper club with catering kitchen, rooftop lounge offering views of Uptown Charlotte, saltwater pool with sun ledge, and an outdoor fireplace.
