Transwestern has been selected by Maryland REALTORS to provide asset services for a pair of office buildings in Annapolis, Maryland, totaling 64,708 square feet. The assignment covers the association’s headquarters and an adjacent office property, formalizing an ongoing relationship between the real estate services firm and the statewide trade group.
The portfolio includes 200 Harry S. Truman Parkway, which serves as Maryland REALTORS’ headquarters. The building encompasses 54,762 square feet of office space and functions as the association’s primary administrative hub. Also included in the management engagement is 2594 Riva Road, a 9,946-square-foot single-tenant office building located next door to the headquarters property.
Under the new mandate, Transwestern will oversee asset services and day-to-day management responsibilities for both properties. The firm has designated Vice President Sarah Alt and professional colleague Calin Gladden to lead management oversight for the two buildings in Annapolis, reflecting a focused team structure for the assignment.
Alt noted that the Transwestern team is continuing its partnership with Maryland REALTORS, emphasizing a tailored management strategy aimed at operational performance and tenant experience. The firm is positioning its approach around customized and forward-looking property management practices designed to support the needs of office users at the headquarters building and the neighboring single-tenant asset.
Transwestern reports that it manages one of the commercial real estate industry’s larger property management portfolios, with more than 240 million square feet of commercial properties under management across markets nationwide. The Annapolis assignment adds to that portfolio, extending the firm’s presence in the office sector and reinforcing its role in third-party management for institutional and association clients.
Maryland REALTORS is described as the largest professional trade association in Maryland. The organization serves its membership base through advocacy, professional development, legal resources, and broader industry leadership initiatives. Its headquarters building at 200 Harry S. Truman Parkway anchors these activities, while the adjoining single-tenant office at 2594 Riva Road complements the association’s real estate footprint in Annapolis.
The new management engagement aligns Transwestern’s national property management platform with a prominent statewide trade association, bringing institutional-scale management capabilities to a two-building office cluster in Annapolis.
