The Central Loop neighborhood is set to welcome a new dining option. Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) has successfully negotiated a restaurant lease at 77 W. Wacker Drive, an impressive 51-story office tower spanning over 960,000 square feet. The upcoming establishment, Good Eating Company, will specialize in organic and locally sourced dishes and is expected to open its doors in the first quarter of 2024. Spanning across approximately 5,000 square feet on the ground floor retail space.
Good Eating Company will offer patrons a unique café-style dining experience with an array of options such as locally sourced coffee, breakfast items for early risers or lunch specials for those looking for something light yet delicious during their workday break. Additionally there will be happy hour specials available along with catering services that can be tailored to meet specific needs and preferences; pop-up events are also planned throughout the year which tenants can look forward too! Furthermore there’s even more convenience as Good Eating Company offers mobile coffee & boba carts that can easily navigate through various areas within the building including tenant spaces.
Kathleen Bertrand who holds senior vice president position at TRS expressed her enthusiasm about this development by stating “We’re delighted to have secured Good Eating Company as our newest addition which not only benefits our tenants but also adds value to surrounding community”. She further added “With ownership stability being established we’ve been able prioritize bringing top-notch amenities & upgrades so we may provide world-class experiences all around”.
