“Transforming the Former EDS HQ in Frisco into a Thriving Life Sciences Campus”

"Transforming the Former EDS HQ in Frisco into a Thriving Life Sciences Campus"

A successful zoning request in Frisco could lead to a $1 billion investment towards the redevelopment of the former EDS corporate campus. NexPoint, a Dallas-based developer, has proposed a mixed-use project centered around a life sciences development campus. This project will be completed in four phases and will include 775 mid-rise apartments, over 4 million square feet of laboratory and office space, as well as 9.5 acres of open space. Additionally, there are plans for a hotel on site.

The repositioning and subsequent development of this property could potentially create about 2,000 direct jobs as it covers an impressive footprint of 91 acres with an additional vacant land area measuring at approximately109 acres.
