"Transforming Panther Island: Tillar Partners' Plan for a Once-Blighted Area"

Panther Island, a former industrial waste site along the Trinity River, is undergoing revitalization thanks to the efforts of the Army Corps of Engineers and Central City Flood Control Project. This 500-acre area in downtown is poised to become a bustling public/private venture.

According to reports from Dallas Business Journal, Fort Worth developer Tillar Partners has announced plans for a $120 million mixed-use development on Panther Island. The project will span about 12 acres and feature Class A office space above retail shops with structured parking. Named Vaquero Panther Island, this development encompasses over 512,000 square feet and has potential to spur further private investment.
