Sage Investment Group has announced plans to transform the Dallas Homewood Suites by Hilton, located at 2747 N. Stemmons Fwy., into workforce apartments. Originally built in 1997, the hotel features 137 guest rooms, four meeting rooms, and a total of 2,364 square feet of event space.
The company estimates that the renovation will cost $1.56 million and take between six to twelve months to complete before leasing can begin. The newly renovated units will offer modern finishes and full kitchens for residents’ convenience. Additionally, amenities such as internet access, cable TV services are included in rent prices along with dog parks and even indoor pickleball courts.
Construction is set to commence in January with an expected completion date of August under the guidance of Houston-based Element Architects who will oversee design aspects throughout this project’s duration.
It should be noted that no architectural changes are necessary for this renovation project; all construction work will only occur within the clubhouse area.
Sage Investment Group specializes in acquiring hotels situated within high-growth markets and converting them into apartment complexes offering affordable housing options compared to other properties on the market while still providing top-notch living experiences similar to brand-new constructions.
