Macerich celebrates the triumph of its revitalized former Sears space at Kings Plaza, the only enclosed mall in Brooklyn. The recently opened stores, such as a three-level Target and popular brands like Primark, Zara, and Burlington are expected to generate nearly eight times the annual sales that Sears once did. According to Eric Bunyan, senior VP of leasing for the East Region: “The remarkable success of Target and other established retailers at Kings Plaza highlights its strong appeal.” The renovations include enhancing customer experience through upgraded second-level amenities and improved parking facilities. This transformation continues to solidify Brooklyn’s Kings Plaza as a top shopping destination.
