"Transforming Bellevue: Converting Office Space into Residential Units"

Cloudvue, a proposed three-skyscraper mega-project in Bellevue, is undergoing changes to its original plan. According to the Puget Sounds Business Journal, the project will now feature more residential units instead of office towers.

Initially envisioned as a large-scale office complex by developer Stanford Hotels Group, Cloudvue will now be transformed into a mixed-use development with an emphasis on housing. The new plan includes replacing the two planned office towers at 10855 NE Eighth Street with residential buildings and keeping the third tower as both hotel and residential space.

In addition to this change, Stanford Hotel Group has also modified their plans for Cloudvue by replacing a performing arts center with amenities such as a grocery store and fitness center. This shift reflects current market trends in Seattle and surrounding areas where there is high demand for housing rather than commercial space.
