Trammell Crow Company (TCC), in partnership with Barings, has broken ground on Speedway Logistics, an 804,283-square-foot industrial development located in Socorro, Texas, approximately 17 miles from downtown El Paso. The Class-A speculative warehouse project is anticipated to be completed by July 2026.

The development, situated at 16400 Gateway Blvd. W., will span a 60-acre site near the Darrington Road exit. It will include two cross-dock facilities measuring 426,868 square feet and 377,415 square feet, respectively. Speedway Logistics is strategically located just minutes from the Ysleta-Zaragoza Port of Entry, one of the busiest commercial ports in the United States.

This project represents Barings’ first joint venture with Trammell Crow Company and marks its initial equity investment in the region.

CBRE’s Christian Perez Giese and Bill Caparis will handle marketing and leasing efforts for the development. Powers Brown Architecture is the project architect, while Catamount Constructors serves as the general contractor. Construction financing is being provided by Bank OZK.
