According to a third-quarter report from Colliers, TPG, a private equity firm, has completed a lease for over 300,000 square feet at The Spiral by Tishman Speyer. This new lease of 301,276 square feet at 66 Hudson Blvd. marks another successful month for Manhattan office leasing in October as Bloomberg LP also expanded and extended their lease at 919 Third Ave., while Blue Owl Capital increased their space at 375 Park Ave.
The terms of the lease have not been disclosed yet and it is unknown if brokers were involved in the negotiations on behalf of TPG. The in-house team of Greg Conen and Sam Brodsky represents Tishman Speyer for this property which spans over 1.2 million square feet on Manhattan’s Far West Side.
In late July, Bloomberg News first reported that discussions were underway between TPG and Tishman Speyer regarding an area between 200-300 thousand square feet. The global headquarters of Pfizer since its opening in2023 is located within The Spiral.
