Torrance Residential Redevelopment: Retail Site Up for Trade

CBRE recently closed the $21-million sale of 22501 Hawthorne Blvd., a 3.82-acre redevelopment site in Torrance, to Intracorp Homes. Representing the seller, a locally based private investor, was John Read, Greg Sullivan and Trent Steeves from CBRE’s team.

The property had been configured as a multi-building and multi-tenant retail center with Gable House Bowl as its primary occupant. Intracorp Homes plans on redeveloping it into an upscale mixed use project that will include 17 affordable residential units along with commercial components.

“22501 Hawthorne Blvd.’s desirable South Bay location near the intersection of Hawthorne Boulevard and Sepulveda Boulevard combined with its potential for higher use generated considerable interest from both residential and retail developers,” said Read about this transaction in Torrance CA real estate market .
